Mindset Foundations programme
Mindset Foundations is the sport psychology programme designed to help you train more consistently and race with greater enjoyment.
If you're a runner, cyclist, swimmer, or triathlete looking to build genuine mental skills — the kind that boost confidence, help you handle endurance pain, and grow resilience in your sport — this course is for you.
How It Will Help
Many athletes want to develop their mindset for performance but aren't sure where to start. This short course gives you practical skills and strategies you can put into action immediately and keep refining as you train and race, so that the benefits show up when it counts, under pressure.
Delivery Method
You'll receive five training videos to download and keep for life for only £87, so you can keep refining your psychological skills whenever you need them. Each 20-minute lesson is delivered by Sport Psychologist Stu Holliday, and elite runner, Ross Braden, giving you the tools to practice, get the most from your mindset, for every session and every race. These foundational skills are essential for ongoing success.
Course Contents
1. Take control of your mind
Learn to notice and reshape the thoughts that derail your training and racing — whether that's on a long run, a hard bike session, or a pool set — so your mindset works for you, not against you.
2. Overcome perfectionism
Let go of all-or-nothing thinking that turns a missed session or an off day into a spiral. Build a more forgiving, more consistent relationship with your training.
3. Turn nerves into excitement
Reframe the pre-training and race jitters — start-line nerves, transition-zone adrenaline, the taper anxiety — into fuel that sharpens your performance instead of undermining it.
4. Manage endurance pain
Practical, proven techniques for staying present and in control when the discomfort hits — whether that's mile 20 of a marathon, the final climb, or the last 200m of open water.
5. Build lasting confidence
Develop genuine, durable self-belief that holds up under pressure — not the fragile kind that only shows up on your best days.
